Welcome to our first installment of Smells Like Autumn! As we previously mentioned, autumn brings forth such cozy and warm feelings as well as wonderful scents.
So this week we're bringing you our first autumn/fall inspired essential oil blend, PUMPKIN SPICE! (We're legit obsessed with this scent). One of the most popular scents for the fall season is pumpkin spice and its EVERY WHERE during the fall season. So let us explore the benefits of cinnamon, nutmeg and clove essential oils.
Cinnamon Essential Oil:
Throughout the continent of Asia, over 100 variations of cinnamon exist. The most popular of the two Ceylon Cinnamon and Chinese Cinnamon can be found in lattes, on grocery store shelves, or in cinnamon buns! Some of the health benefits of cinnamon are; natural digestive aid, blood sugar stabilizer, natural immune booster, circulation booster, and libido stimulator (cinnamon oil mixed with a carrier oil such as coconut oil make a very awesome massage oil).
Nutmeg Essential Oil:
Nutmeg essential oil have a long history of assisting in treating common health conditions as; bad breath, sleeping aid, detoxifying agent (is currently being studied as a detoxifying agent in the removal of kidney stones and certain forms of lymphoma cancers), and also a flavoring agent.
Clove Essential Oil:
New research attributes the use of nutmeg essential oil can be used as a anti-fungal, anti-microbial, antiseptic, and APHODISIAC.
Nutmeg essential oil also aid in the treatment of asthma, migraine headaches, stress, and toothaches.
