Smells Like Autumn - Vol. 3

Yes, we're late with this week's Smells Like Fall installment, however we have a very good reason. You see, today is a very special day. Today is a day of celebration. Today is the first official day of fall!!!!!!! 🍁🎃🍎🥂

And what better way to kick off the first day with a new DIY essential oil fragrance. This weeks oil blend is the sweet & spicy scent of chai, which happens to be one of our favorite drinks.

Just add the number of drops to your oil diffuser (we use a 200ml diffuser) and ENJOY! Continue to read below on some of the benefits of the essential oils used and where to purchase them.

Spiced Chai is a great drink that warms the body from the inside out, and is perfect for fall sipping. As a tea, or even as a latte, the exotic blend of spices is sure to be a hit with your tastebuds, so you know the scent will make its mark on your sense of smell!
Cardamom oil is steam distilled from the cardamom seed, and has digestive and anti-inflammatory properties. It is great for diffusing when you have a cold, as it may assist as an expectorant and decongestant. Cardamom invigorates, relaxes and cleanses.
Cinnamon Bark oil is steam distilled from the actual bark, and besides spicing food, it has antiseptic and antimicrobial properties. It can even act as an aphrodisiac! Diffusing this into the air cleanses the air of ill scents, and is a fall favorite! Cinnamon Bark is protecting, spicy and awakening.
Clove oil is steam distilled from clove buds, and has many uses and top properties: it is an antioxidant, antifungal and antiviral, among other things. Pure clove oil can be used to support good dental health and has even been known to help subdue smoking cravings in those people trying to quit smoking. Clove is spicy and protective.
Ginger oil is steam distilled from the ginger root, and is an amazing supporter of our digestive systems. This pure oil can be ingested internally with care, to assist in calming a number of situations within your digestive tract. Nausea, heartburn or even constipation can use some help from our friend Ginger. Ginger is warming, accelerating and stimulating.
This blend of the 4 oils is sure to become a beloved scent in your home!
